Pals4Me Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Pals4Me, a service operated by ForMe Concepts LLC (“ForMe Concepts,” “Pals4Me,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using Pals4Me, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Pals4Me.

1. What Pals4Me Is

Pals4Me is an activity-first social platform designed to help people discover others who are interested in participating in activities and meeting at real-world locations.

Pals4Me may provide features including profiles, activity matching, group matching, venue suggestions, venue voting, messaging, meetup coordination, arrival confirmation, feedback, and reporting.

Pals4Me does not guarantee that you will receive a match, that another user will attend a meetup, or that any particular interaction will be safe, enjoyable, or successful.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pals4Me.

By creating an account, you represent that:

• you are at least 18 years old;
• the information you provide is truthful and accurate;
• you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms; and
• you will comply with applicable laws while using Pals4Me.

We may restrict or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe belong to individuals under 18.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through your account.

You agree to provide accurate account and profile information and to keep important information reasonably current.

You may not:

• create an account for another person without authorization;
• impersonate another person;
• misrepresent your identity;
• share or transfer your account;
• create accounts to evade a suspension or ban; or
• use automated systems to create or operate accounts without our permission.

Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Meeting Other Users

Pals4Me helps facilitate introductions between users. We do not control the conduct of users before, during, or after a meetup.

You are responsible for deciding whether, when, and where to meet another person.

You should use reasonable precautions when meeting someone for the first time, including meeting in a public location and leaving a situation if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Pals4Me does not currently represent that every user has undergone a criminal background check, government-ID verification, or other independent identity verification unless a specific feature explicitly states otherwise.

You acknowledge that interactions with other users involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated by an online service.

5. Community Standards

Your use of Pals4Me is subject to our Community Guidelines.

You may not use Pals4Me to:

• threaten, harass, intimidate, stalk, or abuse another person;
• engage in hate or discriminatory abuse;
• engage in unwanted sexual behavior or sexual harassment;
• impersonate another person;
• defraud, scam, deceive, or exploit another person;
• promote or facilitate illegal or dangerous activity;
• solicit minors or represent yourself as a minor;
• distribute malicious software or attempt to compromise our systems;
• violate another person's privacy;
• publish content that you do not have the right to share; or
• use Pals4Me in a manner that creates an unreasonable safety risk for others.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

6. User Content

You may provide content through Pals4Me, including profile information, photographs, messages, feedback, reports, activity preferences, and other material (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant ForMe Concepts a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and transmit your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide Pals4Me.

You represent that you have the right to provide any content you submit.

You may not submit content that violates another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

Private communications are not intended to be publicly displayed. We may access or process communications when reasonably necessary to operate the service, investigate reports, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect users.

7. Blocking and Reporting

Pals4Me provides tools that may allow users to block or report other users.

You may report conduct that you believe violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or poses a safety concern.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular enforcement outcome.

We may investigate reports and take actions including warnings, feature restrictions, suspensions, or permanent account termination.

We generally do not disclose the identity of a reporting user to the reported user unless required by law or necessary for legal proceedings.

Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports may itself violate these Terms.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that:

• these Terms have been violated;
• our Community Guidelines have been violated;
• an account creates a risk to another user;
• fraudulent or abusive activity has occurred;
• continued access could harm Pals4Me or our systems; or
• action is required to comply with law.

We may take action without prior notice when we believe immediate action is appropriate for safety, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

You may stop using Pals4Me at any time and may request account deletion through the application where available.

9. Venues and Third-Party Services

Pals4Me may display information about restaurants, parks, recreation facilities, businesses, maps, directions, or other third-party locations and services.

Venue information may come from third-party data providers.

We do not own or control most venues displayed through Pals4Me and do not guarantee:

• hours of operation;
• availability;
• accessibility;
• pricing;
• accuracy of venue information;
• safety;
• quality; or
• suitability for a particular meetup.

You are responsible for confirming important venue information before relying on it.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Beta Features

Pals4Me may be offered as a beta or pre-release service.

During beta testing, features may be incomplete, unavailable, modified, or removed without notice.

You may encounter errors, delays, crashes, inaccurate information, or unexpected behavior.

We may change matchmaking logic, supported locations, supported activities, venue providers, feature availability, or other parts of the service as we test and improve Pals4Me.

Do not rely on a beta version of Pals4Me for emergencies or critical communications.

11. Emergency Situations

Pals4Me is not an emergency service.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.

Do not rely on Pals4Me reporting tools for urgent emergency assistance.

12. Intellectual Property

Pals4Me, ForMe Concepts, our branding, application design, software, logos, graphics, and other materials provided by us are owned by ForMe Concepts LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of our intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Pals4Me except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

13. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue some or all of Pals4Me at any time.

We do not guarantee that Pals4Me will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pals4Me is provided “as is” and “as available.”

ForMe Concepts disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant or guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, reliability, compatibility, or safety of any user.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ForMe Concepts LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pals4Me.

This includes damages arising from:

• interactions with other users;
• missed or unsuccessful meetups;
• acts or omissions of other users;
• third-party venues or services;
• data loss;
• service interruptions; or
• unauthorized account access.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

16. Your Responsibility for Your Conduct

You are responsible for your conduct while using Pals4Me and during interactions that result from your use of the service.

You agree not to intentionally cause ForMe Concepts to incur liability through unlawful use of Pals4Me or violation of another person's rights.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Pals4Me Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If a change is material, we may provide notice through Pals4Me, by email, or by requiring acceptance of an updated version before continued use.

The effective date at the top of these Terms identifies the current version.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
